The Trans-Siberian Railroad stretches almost 6,000 miles from Moscow to Vladivostok. It is an adventurous journey through Poland, Belarus, Russia, and Mongolia. Depending on the route you choose, you can visit cities like Minsk, Saint Petersburg, Moscow, Novosibirsk, Irkutsk, Ulan Bator, and Beijing.

If you wish to take the Trans-Siberian railway from Beijing to Europe, you must obtain visas for Mongolia, Russia and other countries en route. Plan ahead. The Mongolian Consulate in Beijing is only open a few hours per week.

The Trans-Siberian express is divided into four route, The first, and most common, route begins in Moscow and ends in Vladivostok. This route passes through Yaroslavl on the Volga, Exaterinburg in the Urals, Irkutsk near Lake Baikal's southern extremity, and then Khabarovsk. From Vladivostok you can continue by ferry to Niigata on the west coast of Japan.

A second route is the Trans-Manchurian line. This route follows the Trans-Siberian line until Tarskaya. From Tarskaya the Trans-Manchurian heads southeast into China and makes its way down to Beijing.

A third route is the Trans-Mongolian line. This route follows the Trans-Siberian as far as Ulan Ude. From Ulan-Ude the Trans- Mongolian heads south to Ulaan-Baatar before making its way southeast to Beijing.

A fourth route is the Baikal Amur Mainline. This route departs from the Trans-Siberian line several hundred miles west of Lake Baikal and passes the lake at its northernmost extremity. It reaches the Pacific to the northeast of Khabarovsk, at Imperatorskaya Gavan. While this route provides access to Baikal's stunning northern coast, it also passes through some pretty forbidding terrain.

It’s incredibly detailed, and whoever made it deserves kudos. The best part about the car is that it has a miniature key with the Ferrari sign on it. It has to be the smallest key ever made. Simply brilliant! I guess a lot of Ferrari owners want one of these, because you can never get enough. Or maybe you can’t afford a real one, so it’s better than having nothing, right?

World’s Most Expensive Perfume

The world is full of expensive stuff. The price of an item determines the target market, i.e. who can afford it, and who can just put it in their Christmas wish-list. So did you ever wonder which is the most lavish scent, and how much does it cost? Clive Christian’s $215,000 (Yes, $215,000) fragrance named Imperial Majesty (No.1) tops the list of being the world’s most expensive perfume.

https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEghMjMfrar9sNGmGtwrwrOtCKJBUXlRpDC2dYvL2AvOwmn_sCwftTSBlIWxqZQ3f-2acDKSS6e0m4QTarCJjuFT6Ej_nIh5HrvunNfoCW9B-bChyphenhyphentRF5bCtJ0CKJ_LfWR3wp-v4rK46rHU/s400/s0xwdv.gif

World’s Narrowest House

A Polish architect has come up with a unique design for the world’s narrowest house which will measure just 60 inches wide and fit between two tower blocks in Warsaw.

http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-McIvvvZX4sY/ThWzwPDufKI/AAAAAAAAA9w/Ajil25fHzXg/s1600/article-1309965200195-0CE32D2400000578-18395_466x532.jpg

The house will include one bedroom, a kitchen, bathroom and lounge over four floors. The design utilises the length of the tiny gap between the buildings, with each floor going back almost 40ft.

Commenting on his design, architect Jakub Szczesny said: ‘I saw the gap and just thought it needed filling. It will be used by artists.’

According to the Daily Mail, the first person to live in the tiny house will be Israeli writer Etgar Keret. The writer will have to use a series of ladders to move between floors as the building is too small to accommodate sets of stairs.

https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjwO8tTIFwwFl3pDrmOAMTRLegxVEjdn6XgKJZaOtj3nCj2_AeZM8ZnosUn7DH7huyFeNrDMieDyPFDiRRzcjiovVoftR47dyrh9JldJKp-6TSoWteJBznKd8QzxCVSsO5SEGnzZOQQdlU/s1600/Large_Centipede_Found_in_UK.jpg

They are all carnivorous, eating smaller insects. One genus bears live young; the others lay eggs. Centipedes bite, and some can be dangerous to people by passing along bacterial infections. Before this we also write about the World's Biggest Dog, Largest Squid and so many huge sized animal here on this blog, So How about the World's largest centipede ever found?

The largest centipede found in UK was at about 9 inches long (about 23cm with 2 cm wide) by Mr Aaron Balick. then, someone in venezuela claims to have seen a centipede about 18 inches long (about 45,72cm). but just because humans have seen/caught centipedes this long, it doesn't make it the largest!

Hercules, World’s Largest Big Cat

Hercules is a 900-pound-heavy, 6-feet-tall and 12-feet-long liger who holds the Guinness World Record for the largest cat.

[Hercules+-+World’s+Largest+Big+Cat+01.jpg]

Born from a lion father and tiger mother, Hercules grew into an impressive creature, able to run at speeds of up to 50 mph and eat 100 pounds of food in one sitting. Ligers have been known to be fat and unhealthy cats, but Hercules is an exceptional specimen that got the best from both feline races.

[Hercules+-+World’s+Largest+Big+Cat+02_resize.jpg]
[Hercules+-+World’s+Largest+Big+Cat+03_resize.jpg]

During a recent photo-shoot, Hercules’ caretakers wanted to show his enormous size by placing him against popular English symbols, like an old double-decker bus or a black cab. He was actually able to climb the bus to receive a tasty treat. It might look like the world’s biggest cat is actually in London, but he’s really quite close to home, at Freestyle Music Park in Myrtle Beach, Southern California.

[Hercules+-+World’s+Largest+Big+Cat+06_resize.jpg]

Despite his gigantic size, Hercules is very tame and Dr. Bhagavan, one of the liger’s caretakers, says looking into his eyes is “like looking into God’s own eyes”.

The Bagger 288, World’s Largest Trencher

We usually focus on the amazing results of extraordinary construction projects on our blog, but those spectacular creations don’t build themselves. It’s time to pay the proper respect to some of the machines that make jaw-dropping construction possible, especially those epic forces of man-made innovation that tower above the rest.

So here they are, one of World’s Biggest Construction Vehicles. Bagger 288

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3391/4607755955_af79488768_o.jpg
http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1275/4607757331_59c47505b2_o.jpg

The Bagger 288 (Excavator 288), built by the German company Krupp for the energy and mining firm Rheinbraun, is a bucket-wheel excavator or mobile strip mining machine. When its construction was completed in 1978, Bagger 288 superseded NASA's Crawler-Transporter, used to carry the Space Shuttle and Apollo Saturn V launch vehicle, as the largest land vehicle in the world at 13,500 tons.

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/6/6a/Bagger-garzweiler.jpg/501px-Bagger-garzweiler.jpg

To put it lightly, the Bagger 288 is a bucket-wheel excavator. But there’s nothing light about a 13,500-ton mobile strip miner. The German creation is 721 feet long, 315 feet high, and can clear an area the size of a football field three stories deep—in just one day.
